Breuss Massage

This treatment method was founded by Austrian Rudolf Breuss (1899-1990).

The Breuss massage can help improve spinal flexibility, create space for intervertebral discs, and promote tissue regeneration. It is particularly beneficial for individuals with back problems, tension, or stress, and can provide a sense of relief and well-being.

Undersupplied intervertebral discs can regenerate and regain their buffer function through this gentle massage according to Rudolf Breuss. St. John's wort oil is massaged along the spine. Rudolf Breuss explained the principle of his back massage in simple terms: a sponge that carries weight for a long time becomes thin and dried out. If you soak it with liquid, it regains its original size. According to Breuss, intervertebral discs recover in a similar way through careful stretching, elongation, and the application of St. John's wort oil.

Additionally, the special strokes used in the massage can help displaced vertebrae find their natural position again.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, the base meridian, which runs alongside the spine, is harmonized during the massage. This important meridian governs the endocrine system and enables us to adapt well to the ever-changing conditions of life. In TCM, the bubble energy also represents our psychic backbone.

The Breuss massage is used for:

  • Back tension and problems of all kinds
  • Vertebral shifts/sliding
  • Hypersensitivity and restlessness
  • Fear and nervousness
  • Sleep disorders

Even without physical problems, this gentle yet powerful massage is extremely beneficial and relaxing.

I only use organically grown St. John's wort herb oil.
