Classic massage (KTM) is practiced by masseurs and physiotherapists all over the world today and is therefore one of the most well-known massage techniques. It is used for stress, tension, hardening and problems of the musculoskeletal system.

This well-known massage technique can be traced back to the Swede Pehr Henrik Ling (1776-1839). Besides his great interest in Nordic mythology, Ling developed a special healing gymnastics and founded the Royal Central Gymnastic Institute in Stockholm. He developed this massage from well-known medical massages and techniques in Asia and transformed it into a relaxing massage.

For this reason, the classical massage is also called the Swedish massage. Today it is the basis for many other massage techniques.

Classic (Swedish) massages are vacations for the soul. They have a relaxing effect on body and mind, loosen muscles and promote tissue circulation, especially of skin and connective tissue.

Your body is mobilized and vitalized. Under holistic aspects, body and mind can recover.

The classical massage is especially recommended after a strenuous day or in stressful phases of life.
The classical massage provides regeneration of the whole body and thus increases the well-being and inner harmony.

Please note: drink enough liquid after the massage: preferably (warm) water or tea. This way, stressful metabolic substances can be flushed out of the body well, which will be dissolved by the massage.

In addition, it is often used for:

- Tensions

- nervous restlessness

- stress at work and in everyday life
